Do you suffer from dilated blood vessels, flat warts or small milia? Have these coagulated in an effective and safe manner by our specialised skin therapists!
The effect of coagulation
During this treatment the skin therapist inserts a fine needle in the skin disease and this is heated by an electric flux and destroyed. It is a safe method and very suitable for small areas. This way no surgical treatment is necessary and it prevents scarring.
If the fibroids are a bit bigger, we remove these with a Zapper. The Zapper is a small and handy device that operates on a save low voltage. It is equipped with a pointy electrode, that is kept just above the fibroid. The fibroid will shrink/burn of due to the hot electrode.*
After the coagulation
After the treatment the skin will be red and after a few says a scab will occur on the skin, which will completely recover after 10 to 14 days.
As the skin is vulnerable in the first two weeks after the treatment, we recommend that you protect your skin in the first two weeks after the treatment with a SPF of at least 30 when the treated skin is exposed to the sun.
How many coagulation treatments do you need?
When coagulating vessels, flat warts and/or milia, 1 to 2 treatments are needed on average.* Our skin therapist will of course provide you with customised advise!
